Shows
-When a show is being announced and your dog qualifies for the event feel free to sign up. The actual event will be posted and roleplayed out at either Frontier Park or whichever kennel has agreed to host the show.
-Admins will determine the outcome of a show based purely off of chance, experience, and bloodline using this device: drawing names out of a hat. The more shows a dog has won, the more times his name will be added into the system.
Ex: Lucky has won 3 shows, his numbers will be 1, 5, 7, and 10. If any of those numbers come up in the system, he will win.
Sugar has won 2 races, her numbers will be 2, 8, and 3.
Fido has won 1 race, his numbers will be 4 and 9.
Tiny has won no races, his number will be 6.
-Second generation dogs will be assigned a bloodline quality at birth. The higher the bloodline, the higher the chance is that your dog will win. To get a higher bloodline you must breed two dogs that have both won shows. The more shows won, the higher the bloodline.
-The placements are Best In Show, Second, Third, and Fourth. Once the winners are announced there is no changing it whatsoever. It goes on your dog's 'permanent record.'
-When your dog turns six months they may start competing. Their career ends at nine years.
-Only purebreds may compete.
Owners/Handlers/Breeders
-There are three jobs that include working with the show dog. Handler, breeder, and owner. The owner is obviously that - the owner. The breeder is who personally bred the dog. The handler is who attends the shows with the dog, preps them, then takes them out to show them to the judge. An owner may be all three.
-A handler may only show one dog per show.
Suggestion to Owners: If you are wanting to show more than one of your dogs in a certain show then hire a handler(s) to show the other one(s).
-Owners are not limited to how many dogs they own. They may either live with them at their apartment/home/kennel(if they own it) or board them at a pre-approved kennel. Boarding negotiations take place between the kennel owner and the dog owner.
-Once you have sold a puppy to someone you may not take it back, ever, unless the buyer agrees to give it back.
-It is all up to you whether you breed your dog or not. The roleplayer of the dog has no say-so, but if you feel like involving them you may.
Humans
-You may make your humans age however you wish.
-Anything that might happen in real-life - as long as it's not too farfetched - is allowed to be roleplayed by the humans. However, graphic sex is NOT allowed whatsoever.
-You may have babies and you get to decide their stats yourself.
Dog Fighting/Racing
-EOTL DOES NOT ENCOURAGE OR CONDONE ILLEGAL DOG RACING/FIGHTING IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM.
-If you want to start a dog race or fight then contact an admin with the details before starting one.
-Admins will determine the outcome of a fight based off of roleplaying skills and who inflicted the most damage. Each dog gets three posts to attack and defend themselves.
-Admins will determine the outcome of a race based purely off of chance using this device: drawing names out of a hat. The more races a dog has won, the more times his name will be added into the system.
Ex: Bruno has won 3 races, his numbers will be 1, 5, 7, and 10. If any of those numbers come up in the system, he will win.
Sasha has won 2 races, her numbers will be 2, 8, and 3.
Tiger has won 1 race, his numbers will be 4 and 9.
Tobi has won no races, his number will be 6.
-Once you have entered a dog in a race or fight they may never be used for showing.
-Enter your dogs in races/fights at your own risk. You may have to breed your bitch if the winner's owner demands it.
-Staff might randomly decide to bust up a race or fight and you will lose all the dogs attending to the ASPCA. All humans attending will be sent to jail for 6 months and lose whatever job they may be holding down, and it will go on your character's permanent record.
Studs
-If you want your male to be put up for stud at their kennel you must notify the owner and they will put them on the available studs list. You have a choice whether or not to breed your dog with any interested breeders that come along. You are entitled to at least one puppy from the litter and if you are denied you may file a complaint to staff.
-As soon as your dog reaches 9 months he is ready to breed.
-At 11 years a stud may no longer breed.
-Breedings are unlimited.
Bitches
-It is the owner's responsibility to find a stud for your bitch. You may breed with any stud you desire so long as you have their owner's consent.
-As soon as your bitch reaches 8 months she is ready to breed.
-You may have as many as 8 litters.
-At 10 years bitches are no longer sterile.
-Breedings are unlimited.
-Breed at your own risk. Staff may randomly give out "deaths during puppy birth" cards.
Puppies
-At six months puppies may start showing, but until then they stay home learning about obedience and all the arts of the trade.
-When your puppy hits six months you must register them if you plan for them to have a showing career.
-Until puppies are five weeks old they stay in their mother's kennel.
-At five weeks puppies are ready to be taken away from their mother entirely and be put up for adoption.
-You determine how fast your puppy matures, but once you register them there's no going back.
-It's up to you how to distribute the puppies, but just remember the stud's owner has a right to at least one if they want it.
Breeding
-Breeding is between the owners and their dogs, but once it's done make sure you post in the puppies board to get your puppies delivered.
-Breeding goes under our no graphic sex policy.
-Admins decide the number of puppies and the stats of your puppies.
-If you do not follow the form you will be given a litter of one with a stillborn.
-Stillborns are natural, so expect them to be handed out.
